For one special evening, we'll gather at The Cottage, Edinburgh, for a book club experience centred around Brandy Sour— the acclaimed novel by Cypriot author Constantia Soteriou, translated into English by Lina Protopapa. Winner of the 2023 Cypriot National Book Prize, the novel examines identity, memory, family, and belonging against the backdrop of Cyprus and its complex history.
Hosted by Rebecca Roberts of Night Owl Books alongside Isobel Salamon of Slonk Wine, the evening combines literary discussion with a curated tasting designed to bring the flavours of Cyprus to life.
