Refund policy

We're sorry, but we're unable to accept returns for items purchased in-store, except in the case of faulty or damaged goods. As a small shop with limited storage space, we tend to only keep one copy of each book on the shelf, and re-order as they sell, meaning that once you purchase a book from us, we'll order more stock to replace it. If you're unsure what to gift, we do however offer gift vouchers!

Our returns policy for non-faulty items purchased via our website lasts for 14 days, after which time we will be unable to offer you a refund. If you would like to return a product it must be in perfect, re-sellable condition and in its original packaging.

Please return your item to Night Owl Books, 1 Bridge Street, East Linton, East Lothian, EH40 3AG. Please enclose the original invoice.

You are responsible for paying all postage and packaging costs for returning non-faulty items.

A refund will be issued after we have received and inspected your returned item.
