School Visits
If you are a teacher at a school in or near East Lothian who would be interested in organising author visits to your school, we would love to hear from you! Please do feel free to get in touch on hello@nightowlbooks.co.uk, and you can sign up to our schools mailing list via the box below.
Our independent bookshop is often contacted by publishers who would like to organise author visits to schools.
As these are often part of the promotional tour for book releases, there is usually no speaker fee for these events.
We do however ask that schools share an order link with parents, so that they can pre-order books by the authors, which we deliver to the school on the day of the talk. You can see an example of a past order link here.
If possible, we will also re-open orders after the author's visit, and offer parents a second chance to order signed copies of books, which we deliver free of charge to the school shortly afterwards to pass on to pupils.
