Author talk with Abi Elphinstone at Haddstock Festival

We'll be popping up at Haddington Library on Saturday, 25th May at 11.30 am, when best-selling children's author Abi Elphinstone will be speaking all about her stunning new book, Ember Spark and the Thunder of Dragons, which is set in East Lothian! Abi will be speaking as part of Haddstock Festival. This is a free, drop-in event. Copies of Ember Spark will be available to purchase, and Abi Elphinstone will kindly be signing copies after her talk.

French-Themed Foodie Book Club - Gullane Festival of Food & Drink

We're delighted to be participating in Gullane Festival of Food and Drink for the first time this year! On Wednesday, April 10th we'll be joining Wine Wednesdays North Berwick and Deli Français for a leisurely tasting of French wines and nibbles as we discuss the novel Vintage 1954 by Antoine Laurain, in which a mismatched group of apartment residents drink a bottle of 1954 Beaujolais and are transported back in time to Paris in that year.

We're looking forward to hosting our first tea tasting book club with local tea company Chiya & Chai at Night Owl Books on Monday, 20th May, at 8 pm.
